I've notified tech that the Muller ad is causing problems for UK members; is anyone outside the UK seeing it?

Just so you know ... paying for a Premium account does not stop the ads .... it's for upgrades.

...on my work computer the Muller ad was just a picture and there was no way to close it.

Same, no way to close the advert, it was covering posts etc so it definitely a technical problem, not just an irritation. Sorry I posted in the wrong topic but it was obscuring the search box and most of the page so navigation was hard. But it's gone for now.

The Muller ad is now creating a pop-up every time I change a page on tfs.

Please clear your cookies and cache, then restart your browser. That might help.

After you do that, if you still have the problem, please post again and state whether or not you can close the Muller ad, or not. And also let us know in which country you are located. Those are both crucial parts of the puzzle .....

I've cleared my cookies and restarted my browser and it's still popping up every time I load a tfs page.
I can close the Muller ad and I am located in the UK. Thanks.

What browser and version are you using? If you have another browser you can try, do you get the same results?

I'm using Firefox 3.16.13.
Internet Explorer asked me if I'd like to unblock pop-ups on the toolbar, when I did, temporarily, Muller child appeared.

I used to be able to use my mobile device to post. Now each time I use my Blackberry, it shows up an ad with tons of recipes links that cover the page entirely so I can't click on anything behind it, and there isn't the option to close the ads.

Anyone has the same issue? And deleting cookies/restarting my Blackberry Bold won't make a difference.

There is one ad that we are getting in the US ... the H&M ad ... and if you accidentally roll over it, it pops up and covers that screen. However, if you roll over the upper right hand corner, there is a hidden "X" to close it. Not sure if this is your issue or not .... since you said it was only on your Blackberry.

We do have a mobile version of tFS ... are you using that? We have just installed an Auto Mobile Device Detector ... you can read about it here, to make sure you are on the correct version of tFS: http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f44...ed-123001.html If you have further questions about the mobile version of tFS .... ask there.

If not, I believe that you can also change it by going to the small menu at the very bottom nav bar, on the left ... and change "Version 3" (which is our current skin) to "Mobile".

Now back to the ads ... in order for us to report the problem, they need to know more. Please advise us of your location (city) and which specific ads (company names) that are the problem.

I"ve been advised that the "mobile" version of tFS has no ads, therefore, it has to be at your end, if you are on the mobile version when this happens. Possibly adware or something else that you picked up on you blackberry, somewhere.
