Attachments cannot be removed ... for the reason you said ... they would no longer be visable.

There are 2 options for you and there are threads about both of those that have the information you need to know:

1. Pay to upgrade your account, which will give you 10 times as much attachement space. Here is where you pay for it: http://forums.thefashionspot.com/payments.php

2. Host your images at a hosting site and hotlink to that that.

are you trying to attach a video? it doesn't work here
the file types you can attach are located in the list at the bottom of the window, under where you attach the files
