We don't have an embed code for livestream. The number of display configuration options available for livestream would make the embed code rather complex, for end users as well as staff. It's probably easier to just put the links and let people configure the player on livestream's site, where there is a graphical user interface.
Please post the code you are entering here and maybe we can figure it out. Also ... post a link to the video you are trying to embed ... so I can double check the code you are using.
Also, for legal reasons, I don't think the owners of tFS would want zip files on the board for people to be able to download. Like Bette said, YouTube is your best bet for sharing videos. Vimeo doesn't allow non-copyright holders to upload material either.
Ok, thanks for the info. Just my opinion, maybe tfs owners need to solve this problem, because posting videos on vimeo and youtube it's not the best choice for tfs members. Vimeo and youtube sometimes delete videos. This happened before, this is why ask about that.
HeatherAnne you said, 'people to be able to download' but videos from both of this sites youtube and vimeo can be downloaded. So i don't understand why zip files are different from videos on this sites.
If youtube or vimeo remove videos, it is likely because of a copyright issue. For the same reason, it is not a straightforward task to download videos from youtube.
If you have the copyright to the material in your zip file, you can host it on youtube or vimeo and post the links here.
Just out of curiousity, what do you suggest tfs owners should do to "solve this problem"?
