Feel free to move this to the appropriate thread, but I searched and couldn't find one about the question I have..
You know how we can create folders and store our recieved messages in them? Well I was wondering if we will ever be able to do the same with the messages we sent..
I'm just very organized and like everything in order so it's easier to clean my outbox, it's annoying going through pages and pages of sent messages and having to open them, read them then delete them
My computer is so oraganized it's not even funny.
I have folders for folders
Even my desktop icons are organized by what they are
So is it something that might be possible in the future?
I think it would be neater and easier to locate a message if it's in a folder instead of all together with every sent message..
I know what you are talking about ... I tried it too. And without having a way to organize outgoing messages ... or grouping them in the same folders as the related ones in the incoming message ... it just doesn't work well enough. So I gave up.
As far as I knew ... that's not an option in VBulletin. However, we have one tech on board now who is very knowledgable about Vbulletin ... so I'll ask him and if we can do it, I'll post it here.
The simplest way to do it is to use BCC to send your pm's to yourself. For most users that's the good solution.
I don't do it that way because I get too many pm's. I export them as xml and use vBulletin PM Reader.
Not sure how the vBulletin PM reader works ... but it's something to take a look at to see if it might work for you. I don't think it will work for me, because it looks like it's a little more complicated than I can handle ... since I'm technically challenged.
