I have a suggestion for the multiple cosmetics advertisements posted in the Ad Campaign section. How about creating general threads for these cosmetics adverts, for example, 'The Chanel Cosmetics Thread' etc etc.

I just have a question, why is it that there are so many rules about what you can say on here? You're not able to talk about weight, you're not able to say any kind of curse word, you can't talk about drugs on here. There's a lot of things pertaining to the industry that are important topics to be talked about that you're not aloud to because your post will always get deleted. I just got a post taken down because I made a little joke and apparently it was "unrelated to the topic" when the post was completely pertaining to the topic. I just find it kind of nazi-ish to have so many rules about what you can say and what you can't say.

i think weight talk is a major issue, especially in a fashion forum. many comments get taken the wrong way and it can cause unwanted drama. many models read the forums and especially individual threads. i don't think they would like to read negative comments about weight when there are already so many pressures on them regarding that topic. ^

It's beyond that .... we used to have major problems with each of thise things and our threads we constantly disrupted by users who were not here for fashion but for other purposes. These rules help our members to focus on our main mission ... fashion, the creation and promotion of fashion and the people who work doing all of that.

We are often accused of being "nazis", and as disrespectfull as that is, we know the it's just a backlash from some members who don't like rules and think the they have the right to say whatever they want. But you must understand that this is not a publicly owned forum .... it's a private forum. We are not bound by public policy or "feedom of speech" rights. At tFS, you must be invited to join and must accept the rules, as a condition of membership. We get to chose how our members must conduct themselves and you get to chose whether or not you want to be a member.
