The Latests threads tab (or bar idk the correct name) at the right side of the main forum page doesn't shows for me anymore, just the title.

Clicking on that title will perform a search and load a page showing the threads with the newest posts in them. This is how it works now.

Oh Ok thank you I liked the old option that showed the new threads not the new posts but it's ok.

I have a problem. whenever i post a comment, and i try viewing it after, it doesn't show my post. the page just keeps reloading over and over again.

I don't think it's a systems problem since no one else has reported it here or via the Contact Us link.

So, try this ... this often helps issues like this:

Clear your cache and your cookies.
Restart your browser.

The only browser that doesn't show the Latest threads tab for me is Firefox, because I tried it in IE and Safari (w/ the same computer) and it worked just fine.

Having a problem with the search function. I can search a thread individually by name, but not by Keyword..and for what I'm looking for, I need to use the keyword..

What do you mean "keyword"? What Keyword are you trying to use? It must be at least 4 characters long or the search engine does not recognize it. For example, the search engine will not find NY or even the "New" in New York ... but it will find the "YorK". Try a longer keyword if possible or .... use the Google search at the very bottom.

What search window are you trying to use? There are several:

The Search, which is located on the very top nav bar. You may just search by any keyword (4 letters or longer), but then, you will get way too many results to be effective and it won't list them all after a few hundred.

It's usually better to go to advanced and to search by thread titles and show threads only .... to get you to the right thread. In fact, when you are in Advanced Search, you can set your prferences to always search thread titles only and to give results as threads. It's the best way. It's how mine is set. We try to make all threads have search friendly titles .. to enable an effective thread title search. I can find almost anything I want by thread title.

Then, you may "Search this Forum" or "Search this Thread" .. which are both on a lower nav bar and can narrow you search to just those areas. that will narrow it down a lot.

If all else fails, try the Google search ... it will search tFS only.

The New Threads function is still not working for me - it does not auto-populate and when I click on it it gives me the latest posts. If there is a resources problem with the new threads (not new posts) being passively available (i.e., it auto-populates when you click on certain pages), can it be made available as part of the Quick Links which should be less of a resource drain since the user has to actively pursue the information. Thanks.

Firefox is my browser, are the people who are not on Firefox getting the latest threads to load automatically as opposed to the latest posts? Thanks.
