Good questions from Echoes. We'd like to know the answers so we can look into this further. So far, this is the only report we've had.

If this happens again to anyone, please not what page you are on and the ads being displayed and post it here, please. We will send this information to tech support for follow up.

I have reported this to tech support. People, please be very careful as this appears to be a malignant Trojan. Make sure your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs are up to date!

If you are running a Mac or Linux, you may now congratulate yourself.

Colour .... you mean this? it's happening to me again, so I'll mention it to tech support and see if they can fix that.

My Norton said it had to remove Bloodhound.exploit.281 and it was high security risk, if that is of any help...

the same thing happened to me regarding the trojan.

i clicked on the emanuel ungaro s/s 2100 thread (i think it was page 2) and almost immediately my browser shut down and i got a trojan warning.

there were a lot of hosted pictures on that page, if i recall. (and im very certain it was that page because i initially clicked on it though a TFS email containing the link)

i was rather freaked out because i was at work when this happened (i dont want to call our outsourced tech support if anything happens). so i didnt spend any time on TFS for the rest of the day. (if it helps i was using an IE browser for windows)

i have no such qualms about being on TFS at home due to my linux OS.

Tech Updates
  • The "Read More" link is inserted automatically by design and for now it is going to stay with us. We are still discussing this with management.
  • If you ever receive alerts about Trojans or other exploits while browsing tFS, please try to notice what ads are displaying when you receive the notice. Since the ads are regional, this information is more relevant than which forum page you are on. If a Trojan or other exploit is reported by software other than what you know is installed on your computer, beware, and do not follow any download links from unknown popups!

Thank you. The mods took care of this almost immediately. That is "customer service." Very nice.
