It was for "Response to a deleted/edited post". We don't usually send a notice for that reason, since you did nothing wrong. Most likely, someone else's post was removed and so now your post would not make any sense.

Not too likely that the copyright holders will even notice it's there ... they monitor the threads that actually have names of model, photographers, magazines, etc. as part of the titles. So we almost never hear from copyright holders regarding either personal avatars or the avatar threads in Member Support.
Well I did, but I understood it. I just have one question: a few days ago I had an avatar of the leaked Prada S/S 2011 campaign. Everytime after the pictures had been posted they were removed because Steven Meisel and art & commerce asked you to do so. I wonder if they noticed my avatr or if it was a moderator to see my avatar and remove it.

I know this question is weird but I would like to know if art&commerce actively views theFashionSpot as I'm not posting a lot anymore or just tells you what they allow and what they don't allow and therefor ask you to remove/warn memebers about copyright issues.

If I remember correctly, it was a mod.

With A&C ... we are very pro active and remove things before they see them because they have a no tolerance policy when it comes to their images and they will bust our chops ... it's a lot of work to clean up after the fact. With Prada, we want them to continue to allow us to post their released images and they are fine with that .. as long as we help them out in the things that have been illeagaly leaked.

I figured it out that, BetteT

but wouldn't have editing my post (As it wasn't all related to the deleted post) a better option? That was just a bit rude

Here is an exact copy of your post and comments:

Quote:
^Source is actually polystoned.tumblr haha.

Quote:
I don't like this
The moderator needed to remove your response about the source and the "haha" which was in reference to the previous post, now deleted.

So, then, what was left in your post that was of any value? Perhaps you are referring to the quote? It just does not make sense ... seeing just a quote sitting out there all by itself with no explanation.

Perhaps it was actually the point you wanted to make ... since the thread is "What's on you Mind?". But there was no way of determining what your intentions were, because you placed the remark in quotes. It looked like you were referring to something someone else said ... maybe even the post that was deleted. Your whole point was unclear.

Please don't say that the the moderator was being rude to you ... this is absolutely not the case. The moderator was just doing the assigned job to the best of her ability.

I quoted to state what was on my mind in that moment,I didn't feel like typing a long line
(like this __________________________________________) and I thought tht the quote thing was much more appropiate and it could avoid mistakes and yes, that's what was on my mind, which is the reason I consider it rude since that thread is supposed to be the place to talk about that kind of stuff .I'm Sorry I wasn't clear enough.

Now I understand ... now that you explain that you put your own words into a quote even though you we not actually quoting anybody. I'm sure it was not intended to be "rude" towards you ... obviously they misunderstood your intent.

Sorry that happened. Please just post your rcomment again.

The yellow box indicates that you have received a "Reminder" about one of the rules. It is permanent but only you and the moderators can see it. We need to keep a record of reminders, so that we can check to make sure we have advised you about any specific rule, in case you keep doing the same thing. Normally it's not the number or reminders that concerns us (mistakes happen and we have a lot of rules), but whether or not you keep breaking the same rule.

If you keep making the same mistake, over and over again, then we might issue a formal "Warning". That will show up with a red box and that is serious. Too many "warnings" can lead to a ban ... depending on the circumstances and the timing.

Please read post #1 of this thread to learn more ... and review the Community Rules, linked at the bottom of every page which explains the process of "Reminders" and "Warnings".

one question: can you get terminated at tFS for having too much deleted post?

If you have a lot of deleted posts, that would indicate that you are having trouble with the forum's rules and guidelines. Depending on what sort of trouble you are having, yes, your account could get revoked, but it is not a function of the number of deletions; it is a matter of what rules you are breaking.

BetteT's advice is good: Please read post #1 of this thread to learn more ... and review the Community Rules, linked at the bottom of every page which explains the process of "Reminders" and "Warnings".

Why am I getting a warning for using Imagebam to host pictures but yet I see other members using didn't hosting sites that are clearly affiliated with porn, when there's kids on tfs? that makes no damn since!

Please see these two announcements:

Hosting Images on Sites that feature Porn Ads ... Not Allowed!

Read more: Hosting Images on Sites that feature Porn Ads ... Not Allowed! - the Fashion Spot http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f43...#ixzz1RM3hl0Nb

Caution ... Clicking on Images may Lead to Porn ads.

Read more: Caution ... Clicking on Images may Lead to Porn ads. - the Fashion Spot http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f43...#ixzz1RM3q5MEJ

The bottom line is that the available image hosts, and their policies, change too often for us to maintain an accurate list day-to-day. There is always a risk that an image host may have decided to start displaying porn ads, or that a new image host has appeared that displays porn ads. The hosts that we know have been consistently problematic are prohibited, so using one of those hosts can get you a deletion, reminder, etc.

You are best advised to avoid the ones that we have specifically prohibited. If you feel another host is a problem, please let us know and we will evaluate it and decide if we want to add it to the list of prohibited hosts.

Today, I posted news about Rooney Mara getting November Vogue cover here , in cover rumor thread. After several minutes the thread was closed because it has reached 1000 posts, when new thread was opened and previous was un-pinned, I thought many members might not read it in previous thread and since it's important news for magazine lovers, I posted it again, here , in new thread. I just wanted more people to read this news and for this I've received reminder, I think it's unfair. I'm doing my best to bring all the news here on tFS, and this site becomes more & more formal last time. I was really surprised.
