what book is this? i think id very much like to read it, as im a latina...

I've always used Clearasil Daily wash too ever since I can remember. I think it's good because it's so gentle and exfoliates really gently too. I tend to have two different ones though as sometimes I like a wash that gives a more thorough deep clean...like Clean and Clear Morning Burst. I'm a bit dubious though about some deep cleaning washes as I've heard that some cleansers add menthol so you get that the illusion of a nice 'tingly' feeling after using it.

^ Ah, thanks. I once used Clean and Clear Acne Wash or something and it really dried out my skin, made it itchy.

When I was younger I tried all sorts. The clinique stuff just gave me really dry skin. Now I use Dermalogica and that works. It may also be to with getting older but I only get a few now.

accutane for acne I think Im going to try it

Im 22 years old and have had acne problems FOREVER especially getting off of the pill... Its been a constant struggle... Always on my chin. Ive tried everything from retin a to retin a micro... ive done it all... And now i am thinking of doing Accutane. ive recently been on Retin a for 6 months and nothing but dry skin reddness and acne still! So I am thinking of asking my Derm for this stuff July 12th... any advice would be golden... Even what I am to expect being on this a low amount of it.. thanks

what do you guys think of pro active?
i've finally resulted to using it.. and it's okay.. i just hope it works >< i've heard that once u stop using it, it all comes backk. but in the meantime, i sure hope it works! althoguh i find the cleanser a little too exfoliating for every day use.. i use it threee times a day... along with the other 2 steps. T_T maybe the time in the afternoon i'll just use my old cleanser..

anyways, what are youuur thoughts about it ? =] feed back pleasee!

Oh, and i just finished a 2 month period of minoxycline.. this time, it didn' work well like last time =(((( i was pretty disapointed.
Clindoxyl gel, however, is pretty impressive =]]

so is it true that Asians tend to have hyperpigmentation? I'm Asian myself, and compared to my Canadian friend, my scars heal much more slower than hers. Her skin is completely perfect now, and her acne was worse than mine
Geez me too, it's not only the acne scars on my face but also my legs, I have TONS of brown spots from years ago when I hurt them; they're really terribly uneven and blotchy.

its NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!! My mother recently was diagnosed with breast cancer from the BIRTH CONTROL PILL! let me explain.. My mother was diagnosed and they ended up cutting off her left breast they tested it and it was estrogen driven which is what is in the pill... She went on the pill in a late age because her dumb doctor told her it would ease her into menapause what a load of CRAP@ she then slowly discovered it was because of the pill why she got breast cancer. I stopped the pill right away and yes it did clear my skin up but would rather have pimples then breast cancer.. Later on my mother gets these breast cancer awarness magazines every month and now their is new research saying that the pill does cause breast cancer!!!!!!!!!!! stay away trust me. all of my friends are going off of it and all of my family members! ITS NOT HEALTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!her breast cancer was caused by the estrogen that is in the pill... if that makes sense... read up on it
