I had my skin tested there about 6 months ago (they did a computer test), and they recommended the hydramax/purity range for my skin type. If your from Sydney Australia (a guess based on you making a pitt stop in Myer ) there is a Chanel beauty boutique (in Bondi Junction) which is worth a visit. There you can get one on one specialist advice and even recieve facials by consultation!
The purity range is ideal for acne prone skin, but I advise getting your skin tested before making any purchases. As we know Chanel skincare tends to be quite pricy

I have very dry skin so it has worked wonders I do understand however that it can be oily for some...Their milk cleansers for instance tend to be on the oily side...But the hydramax serum/boost cream is lovely

By the way izzie, there was talk mid last year about a Sephora opening in Australia, but alas it never seemed to materialise...So unfair

Yep! That's the one.

And yeah, not too expensive really, and it'll last you a really long time! I've had mine for months, and I don't think I'm even halfway through the container.

Plus the the thing that I think is really nice about the powder foundation is you don't have to worry about your foundation ever looking cakey! I hate that.

My skin has been looking so much better lately, due to some changes I did in my routine:

Using toner. I now apply a selfmade toner (2/3 water, 1/3 apple cider vinegar) twice a day, let it dry for a few minutes and then apply my moisturizer.

Switching my moisturizer. I used to use Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer, but that did nothing for my skin and even though I tend to have oily skin, it always felt so dehydrated and tense. So I switched to a moisturizer from Nivea (it's called Aqua Beauty in Germany, so I suppose it's something with 'Aqua' in the name in other countries as well) and my skin feels so much better and fresher now.

Using oils. At night, I now apply baby oil to my face. I put a tiny bit of it on my fingers, rub it and spread it all over my face. When I wake up my skin feels so incredibly soft. I actually got this idea from one of the threads here (oil to combat oil), but instead of jojoba oil, I used some baby oil which I still had and it worked just as good. I also sometimes add a squirt of the oil to my conditioner which makes my hair really shiny and soft. No greasy residue at all.

Taking zinc supplements. I had taken them before, but for some reason I stopped and my skin started getting worse. Now that I'm taking it again, my skin has cleared up a bit and due to the biotin and B vitamins, my nails are stronger as well.

And about the Vitamin C products ... the Body Shop has a Vitamin C range which is pretty good. I only used the eye cream (very refreshing), but my mum used to have the moisturizer and it made her skin look quite radiant. Now this says nothing about its effect on acne prone skin, but I thought I'd add this.

Hmm, recently (past few days) more of those skin coloured bumps tiny bumps have been popping up on my cheeks, I don't know what they are but this is worrying me now!
The only think i relly recently added to my routine is Lush's Enzymion moisturiser do you think it could be that?

Also, I really want to get the clarisonic skin care brush, I think you can buy it online in the UK so I might do that

I think you either have to buy it online, or buy it from a Mary Kay consultant (which if you don't know any, then probably online would be easiest).

thank you!!

I feel like I'm gonna have a breakout in the next days. my face is itching this might sound stupid, but I think I'm allergic to trains or something, coz I feel like I break out everytime I get back to uni from my parents and the other way round. maybe it's only due to stress, although I don't feel particularly stressed right now.

I always get those flesh coloured bumps, usually on my chin, but now they've migrated to my cheek area and my chin is clear. I think they are hormonal, since I've noticed that they flare up during that lovely time in a girl's life Have you ever had them before?

It doesn't sound stupid at all...This reminds me of myself actually. When I get grossed out (by trains especially) I get nasty break out (the wonderful red spot kind)...The human body is a strange thing
