Hey ,

Other helpful alternatives are:
- Laser Resurfacing
- Collagen Injections
- Silicon Sheeting
- Lactic Acid Peels
- Copper Peptides
- Elicina Cream; and
- Mederma Gel

It is probably best to see a dermatologist.

Mederma works great! I have used it on my old acne scars and it has vanished them completely...of course, they keep on coming, but its a big process to vanish them...another process of course is getting used to the onion smell ... a chemical peel or microdermabrasion will help a lot lot lot!!

This is too broad and complicated an issue to discuss here, so I strongly urge you to check out the forums at acne.org, which have an extensive body of knowledge regarding treatments of acne and acne scars.

The most important thing in the appropriate treatment of scars is knowledge, not money. Read up the relevant literature and you'll be able to perform many DIY procedures that can greatly diminish any kind of scars over the long run.

wahaha..i used to go to acne.org but i kinda abandoned it, since people got annoying.
anyway.

alpha hydroxy (glycolic acid) helps. like leyla said, dermabrassion. just when i got rid of my mild scars, i'm started to break out badly again. GAGRGRGH.

Sorry, I actually did write a response, but it got lost on me.
What I would recommend is this cream called Differin. It's perscription, so you would need to speak to your doctor, but it works really well. My younger brother uses it; I steal it occationally, and it is definately effective. Also, maybe you should start seeing a different set of dermatologists? Good luck, and not to worry- you're not going to have this your entire life!
