Body Brushes
I love body scrubs but unless I get out of the shower/bath halfway through to use them, they end up washing away with the water. I also find that most shower scrubbers are too soft and a waste of time...except the Riffi mit, I love Riffi mits!
Anyway my dermatogolist said not to use any shower scrubbers including the Riffi because they foster bacteria growth or something I don't know though, because the Riffi has that special plastic, is so easy to wash and never ever smelt bad, but I get what he means. Anyway he was recommending dry body brushes. I've read heaps of things about how good it is for circulation, dryness and maintaining healthy skin in general. Plus lots of rave reviews about 'cactus' brushes, has anyone tried these? I bought a cheap dry brush yesterday it's good but I think it's too soft, so I might upgrade to the cactus... Does anyone use dry body brushes? Which one/s do you use? What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I haven't got the cactus brush yet, but in the meantime I had a great idea of how to make the one I got (which is too soft) more effective. I trimmed down all the bristles to at least half their length. Now it feels great when I use it
It gives my skin a nice tingle feeling, I follow the brushing with oil. I'm using Linden leaves which has sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, rosehip oil, and 23kt gold flakes. I let the oil sink in, and then I smooth over with body cream at the moment I'm using Clarins. This is the brush I'm using vvvv
