to be honest Diesel21,
balenciaga menswear is for a very 'selective' audience i think

their sizes are impossibly small and limited.
their pants and jackets range from 48 - 52 which is quite normal for RTW menswear,
however their sizing is VERY VERY small

i am 5'11.5 and i am very tiny. i generally get a 30 waist pants which is like a 48, however in balenciaga menswear i can JUST about get into their 52 size which is their largest.
also i take a 34 inch leg, but their leg length is more like a 40 its absolutely rediculous

as for their jackets........again i am thin but i have quite big shoulders and i take a 48-50......but their size 52 is more like a 48 from any other brand.

i know some of balenciaga menswear is gorgeous.....but their sizing is more suiting for a female runway model in BIG heels

The Aloha Rag web site says their boutique carries Balenciaga men. Here is the link: http://www.aloharag.com/highseas/assets/im...alen/cbalen.htm

Maybe you can call and ask the store, if you are looking for a particular piece.

I'm not a big guy, but I almost ripped apart one of the jackets I tried on in size 50. I got scared and left the store...

I guess my 32 waist is morbidly obese in Balenciaga standards....I actually really wanted one of their coats.....oh well

You might pull off a 52 in a coat, if you don't have broad shoulders (or regular shoulders ). It's soooo overpriced though...

If you are 5'6'' and 120 lbs, you are the ideal Balenciaga man!

And yes, the prices MUST come down.

Does anyone have any idea why Balenciaga absolutely refuses to fix their fit problem? Is it really that difficult? faust? Lena? anyone? Do they do it on purpose? And if so, why?

I'm really not sure. My best guess is that Gucci is trying to squeeze the prestige factor out of this brand, but I'm sorry, it's just not working. This season once again Barneys had an entire wall of Balenciaga at 70% off with no takers.

Maybe their having serious production problems and can't translate their size 2 runway samples into size 8's and 10's for a more realistic consumer. I know Nicolas has mentioned this problem before.

If they honestly think they'll build up prestige by shrinking the sizes, they've got another thing coming. Even at 70% off, there's not a buyer in the house. So sad.

I have found Matsuda to cut extremely slim as well. For example I have a jacket marked 40 but it is more like a 34.
