Count Your Bblessings Let us pray.
Dear lord of style (and mercy),
Thank you for these gifts we are about to receive in the form of Bblessing, a new house of worship devoted to the holy trinity of art, fashion, and music.
Let us bow our heads and ponder the avant-garde artwork (from street icons Wes Lang, JK5, and Brendan Donnelly) that line the dark red walls of the Orchard Street boutique.
We acknowledge the daily devotionals to blazers, kicks, tees, and sweatshirts for men from Surface to Air, house-label Bblessing, and Rag & Bone. Not to mention the cheeky, pop-inspired jewelry of Tobias Wong and Ken Courtney, brass knuckle rings, and other hipsterist ephemera (high-design books, soundtracks, esoteric DVDs).
Without which our shelves would be empty.
Finally, please watch over the boys behind Bblessing and their record label, Breakbeat Science. Their vision, and their drum and bass collection (accessed only through a hidden back door), have given us the strength to keep on shopping. Forever and ever.
