I love the idea of them, it's a fresh way to wear tights - and what I love even more is the optical illusion of them giving me the legs of a teenager.

Realistically, you can't be spending 'Chanel money' on tights because they're exposed to so many dangers, they inevitably take a hit, whether its from 'shoe rub' at the back of the ankle, to your own nails putting a hole in them. Unless those tights are around 70-100 denier - and therefore more like fabric and repairable with stitching - they won't last long if you actually wear them. If I were ever to buy those tights, they'd spend their life resting unworn in the package as some sort of pristine fetish object.

But the knock-offs, come September when they arrive in the stores, I think I would buy about ten pairs, dig out my monochrome autumn/winter miniskirts and wear them every weekend when out and about in town, and feel all girlish.

I adore them and would love to get myself a pair! I can't wait for some knockoffs to come around. I will totally be in line to get some!

The minute I saw the pictures, I knew that I could wear these tights every day for the rest of my life.

I've called our Chanel, and they said to check back in June, which I definitely will. As for the price, I am only willing to spend less than $100 (or that's what I keep telling myself). I am in love with these, but there's no way I can spend that much money on something so disposable and easily broken. I agree with luckyme, I can definitely see Wolford doing a pair. And if it waters down even into F21 and such, I will be the girl stocking up on dozens of pairs.

As for the double C's, I love it, but I think I'd prefer mine to be un-branded.

The double Cs make it for me. Otherwise you lose the white-on-black, black-on-white effect.

Oh I love these too! I wonder what sort of exorbitant price they will be charging for them though I'll check at my local Chanel store too.

I am dying for copies of this too!!! Even though it's 90 degrees and above all week, I am looking ahead to fall and know these will be so fantastic to put a bit of a kick in my wardrobe as I am not planning to buy much in the way of clothing.

these tights were the most memorable item from the chanel runway show imo

i love that the look is slimming ad i actually like the logo and the way it overlaps the two tones..

i don't think i've ever spent a lot of money on an individual pair of tights but these look like something i could consider

would be perfect with a black mini skirt..
i'm already planning outfits and experiments in my head
