I have the boucle coat posted by nicestthing. It's really, really nice. I bought one in my regular size and one in the next size up for wearing with sweaters. I'm trying to decide if having two is overkill, but the coat *is* chic enough to warrant that IMO.

I think at most US H&Ms (I'm not an H&M expert

though), the collections are NOT out. For some crazy reason, my store gets a lot of the things from the lookbook before the lookbooks are posted on the popular H&M blogs (Nitrolicious, etc). A couple of the items from the pics (wheredidugetthat) posted here have come & gone at my store. Some items in the Karly & Sasha campaigns were here and those are gone already too.

i wonder if your store is not paying attention to when the items are supposed to be released. all the stores get campaign product early but it's not supposed to hit the sales floor til the date on the tote/box. my store got a mens and kids price ad campaign that isn't coming out til thursday 2 weeks ago.

some years ago i was in england in an H&M and they had item much longer before we got them in germany. i thought that was items we wouldn´t get so i got a lot and they came out in my local H&M like 1-2month later. but maybe it was because of another country?

aldn -- I don't work there so I can't say with 100% certainty, but I don't think they release before they are supposed to. I say this because I've asked for certain items and I've been told (by several employees) that they have a release schedule they are bound by.

I've wondered if we get items early because we are a sort of "test bed"? In other words, do our economic demographics help them make decisions for the rest of the US H&M locations or perhaps our weather patterns mean something to their marketing strategy?

I bought these leather trousers from H&M less than a month ago. I wore them once about 2 weeks ago and they were fine. However when I took them out of my closet a couple days ago I noticed that the color has faded from black to a blue color with streaks of the original black in places. I have no idea how or why this happened, but is there anything I can do about this? Can they be dyed back black?

Yeah, I agree. They shouldn't do that. The only reason I could think they might do that would be if they had been left in strong light?
