aHHH!!!...

...

OMG---

love love love!!!...

love the texture, the raw edge and the red stitching on the first one...
and i also love that it has no shoulder seam...
hahaha...
because i have no shoulders...
...

the longer one is really great and seems like a really good, classic piece...
is there something going on with the seam on the sleeve or is that just the way the stylist folded it for the side view...?

i have something in this feeling from CP Shades that i got at their store in Santa Monica awhile back...
it's grey linen...

couldn't find a pic though...
which is funny, because i thought it was a basic style that they always do, but i guess they do some different variation each season, because i do not like any of the ones they are currently offering...

this does make me want to wear my grey linen one though...
might look nice with a certain pair of YY booties!!!..
...

***i guess that YY tunic top/dress that i am so fond of is really some form of deconstructed henley, isn't it...?!
gosh---i am sooooo predictable...
......

very inspiring ...
thank you runner dear!!!

you are welcome softgrey
about the sleeve of the longer one, I believe it's just the way it was folded.

yes maybe a kind of henley and also what I had been reminded of is some pullover type jacket/parka with relatively big pockets similar to the ones on that YY dress whose name I don't know specifically.

you have to post something somewhere if your grey linen one worked well with the boots!

thanks for the info...

i see what you mean about a parka/pullover style with pockets...
something sporty...
yes...that too...

i will do my best to make it work with the boots, but i have a feeling it might be better with the YY sneakers now that i think about it...
it's a bit long for the boots maybe...
we'll see...

unfortunately, the weather has not been cooperating lately...

some lovely, lovely shirts in this tread! love the poeme bohemien and the daniela gregis shirts you posted, runner. such tactile pics as well, like I can almost touch them... but I can't! oh, the frustration

I have two henleys by yarn unit, a black one and a dark burgundy/brown one. haven't worn them in years, but lately I've been wanting to wear them again. it's like you said softgrey, I like the androgyny of henleys. in a way, they seem a sort of counterpoint to the pieces/pictures you posted a couple days ago in the 'personal style' thread, runner, those feminine/masculine pieces.

my partner has a few henleys by belgian label 7d - he has a lot of pieces by them, they always do the best fabrics and colours. I can't find a website for them though, try as I might.
