$2500 mink jacket - but I would say this. I bet not many people regret spending what ever they did on their most expensive item!!!! - buy cheap buy twice

I guess this is true for me, even if I've only spent a fraction of what some of you have spent. I adore the blue jacket that I bought for myself for $50...and it's more special becaue I bought it myself. I don't regret it at all--I get compliments almost every time I wear it.

Nice going!! What university do you go to? I see you are in toronto, so just trek over to Bloor St in the yorkville-ish area and go crazy!!!

I go to U of T I actually live just right off of Bloor Street so I do go window-shopping there a lot!

I only have $1,100, so I can't really go crazy I want to get something school-related yet impractical... like a Vuitton folder but they told me that they stopped making those a few years back, and now they're only in the stores to hold magazine clippings and catalogues

Dear chanel_girl,

I think your couture pieces are absolutely amazing!!!! : )
You are one lucky girl!!! I'm in Taiwan right now, and some of those Dior Couture gowns were on display. I will see what I can do as far as trying to shrink the image down to size so that you can see it.

Well that is true, the company does provide me with a digital camera whenever I go on a buy trip...and as previously mentioned who really cares if I do actually own these things or not? and do you people take immense pleasure in accusing me of lying?? because it really seems like it to me...I would go on but I've got much better things to do and feel free to say or think whatever about me, I don't care at all

Oh, you're so sad. It must be hard that you can't even find acceptance in your little ridiculously overdressed online fantasy world.

i'd say those were all pretty good investments...aside from the stella which has unfortunately become as common as a bag from the gap now...if not more so...

otherwise i heartily approve...not that you asked for or need my approval...

i would just like to point out that we have several threads where everyone can indulge in fantasy dressing, shopping, eating, travelling, romance, friendships, jobs, etc...

i'm not against fantasies...just against lying...

remember...in my fantasies i am the editor in chief of italian vogue...
although that may be changing...

maybe we should create a thread where we can all take on alter egos and create little fantasy lives for ourselves......>?!!?!... we can pretend we're going to dinner with karl and nicole and pick out what to wear and who to sit next to and who to bring as a date...
i mean that could be fun...but i wouldn't pretend it was actually true if it wasn't...

and i'd still want to talk to people if they were just staying home and eating leftovers...

and wearing a stained oversized t-shirt!

I think it's great to have both elements in one's life. I'm sure even Karl Lagerfeld lounges around in his underpants on a Sunday morning. But when people try to create this infallible I-wipe-my-behind-with-a-Frette-washcloth personality. . . it annoys me.
