Hey guys,

I've been seeing people post pictures of interesting clothes around the board in the past week, and I've been wondering where I might be able to acquire some of them. So I made this thread for tfs'ers to help each other out on places to buy certain brands...feel free to ask around, and I hope I can be of some help.

anyway, I've been wondering where I can buy Cruciani sweaters...and approximate price range?

-Matt

Good idea, Matt. I beleive, but not sure, that you can buy Cruciani sweaters in stores like Barneys (for some reason all the sex and the city glamour has forshadowed all the conservative clientell Barneys caters to, which is a HUGE part of their income) and Bergdorf. I am not sure what the price range is, but I would assume it's not for the faint of heart.

Thanks for the info, faust. Yeah I kind of have that feeling about the prices too. I just saw the pictures in runner's post on cashmere sweaters and they looked kind of nice. Oh well, there's a reason why it's called high fashion, I guess

Bah, what's with the sad face! It's not THAT important. Remember, you are the master of your own desires, not the other way around

I don't know if they're so expensive actually. They used to be sold in a shop where I am, and the wool version (not cashmere) were only about 90. NOt chepa but i suppose not high fashion either.

While I think this is a great idea for a thread... I feel a lot of people might not get their individual answers if asked in here.

We'll see how it goes I guess.

Fade to Black, do you like Label Under Construction?
although it has items of cotton & linen fabric, it's originally a knit label.
the designer comes from a family which manufactures knits.
I think its cashmere stuff is also good.
