anyone got good recommendations for good online fabric stores? or good fabric stores in the Des Moines, IA, Minneapolis or Chicago area?

The only Des Moines fabric stores I know of are Joann's and Hancock...and neither are too impressive. I would love if someone could show me an online store, though! (Hint: I'm looking for organic bamboo...)

this thread is sooooo inspiring...

not sure if this is the proper area to post this, but.... i've become so obsessed with textured fabrics... im having a small wedding and would like a dress made with something similar to a crushed rose petal (?).. or something like this: Anyone know where i can find a similar texture?

i found what i was looking for, now i have to find somewhere that makes/sells this. there were different variations in size for the petals, but i like this one the best
