i think i misunderstood all the questioning; the winter stuff goes on sale mid-September but it goes on sale sale some time in feb? can't really remember.

they don't have that coat yet.

i am getting the fake-fur lined parka, and I'll see how it fits. I am a little disappointed because every online shop seems to have it, it doesn't feel so special.

I know what you meant originally. I figured it would sell out quickly online and in the store and wanted to know if they restocked frequently.

it just depends; i have seen them restock a few pieces, but they are usually dresses. if you live near a store i would just go in and see if they would call you when they get it. if you don't live near one call them and they are super duper helpful and would probably put one aside for you. now that they have two stores stateside they have more shipments coming in. i also know that the sa's will direct you to retailers who carry apc if they sell out of something.

hopefully this isn't too redundant and was somewhat helpful.

anyone seen or tried on the parka with the removable lining?

i'm thinking of getting it, but am also quite liking the trench, which i tried on at impulse. it was not the right size for me, but i thought the cut was great so i'm a little torn between the two.

the parka seems much more useful for seattle weather, but 550 is rather steep...

I ordered it. Alas, it's too big

. It's really, really beautiful and the quality is really good. It seems that a.p.c. stepped up the quality, last season's stuff wasn't all that good.

It's more olive, than the pictures would have you believe, and it is warm.

I am hoping they can find an xs for me.

also, the sleeves are pretty long.
