STEFANO PILATI, now in his third season at Yves Saint Laurent, will make a personal appearance for the first time. Mr. Pilati will be at Bergdorf Goodman on Nov. 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. His trunk show will be there on Nov. 1 and 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. He will also appear at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco on Nov. 4 from noon to 2 p.m. The trunk show will be there Nov. 4 and 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.


OSCAR DE LA RENTA, whose sumptuous gowns can conjure up thoughts of fairy tales, will be at Saks Fifth Avenue on Oct. 28 for an hour, beginning at noon. His trunk show is Oct. 25 through 29. There will be an Oscar de la Renta trunk show at Bergdorf, Nov. 2 through 7, as well.


TRACY REESE will be on hand at Bergdorf on Oct. 29 from 2 to 5 p.m.


ISAAC MIZRAHI is scheduled for Nov. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. His trunk show is on Nov. 3 and 4.


Other designers visiting Saks this fall include CAROLINA HERRERA (Nov. 8, 1 to 2 p.m.; trunk show, Nov. 7 through 9,) and MARK BADGLEY and JAMES MISCHKA of Badgley Mischka (Nov. 16, 1 to 3 p.m.; trunk show, Nov. 16 and 17). Noteworthy trunk shows at Saks include MICHAEL KORS (Nov. 18) and ALEXANDER McQUEEN (Dec. 5 and 6).


Among the trunk show highlights at Barneys New York this fall are ROCHAS (Oct. 25 and 26), BALENCIAGA (Oct. 31 and Nov. 1), DEREK LAM (Nov. 3 and 4), LANVIN (Nov. 7 and 8) and PROENZA SCHOULER (Nov. 15 and 16). The above shows are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.


MARC JACOBS and RALPH LAUREN have trunk shows coming up. Mr. Jacobs's are at Bergdorf (Oct. 27 and 28) and at Barneys (Dec. 7 and 8). Mr. Lauren's are at Bergdorf (today and tomorrow) and at Saks (Nov. 10 and 11).

Those who enjoy boutique-hopping may want to head downtown, tomorrow through Oct. 24, for the annual meatpacking district trunk shows. Many of the designers will be around as shoppers look at selections from the holiday 2005 and spring 2006 collections. Among the participating stores are Alexander McQueen, Auto, Carlos Miele, Dernier Cri, Diane von Furstenberg, Girlshop, Jussara Lee, La Perla, Lucy Barnes, Nicole Farhi, RubinChapelle and Shelly Steffee. Stores should be called for hours.
