Either or, huh? Let's do this. I'm going to Yay! the first bag, but Nay! the second. Unless you fancy a handbag with personality, the first one is a safe bet. I'm not even sure there's a such thing as a handbag with personality. So I'd go with the first one.

I'm contemplating getting a short vintage kimono - but there are so many!!

Yay or Nay

a few short ones..( I think they are more versatile..)

in silk :

synthetic material with shibori pattern

in silk w. geometrical pattern that feels a bit Missoni'esque

and one long one.. in silk

For the first time, it looks like I'll be yay'ing or nay'ing some kimonos. This thread is really diverse. It helps for this yay or nay that I'm a great fan of Japan, and I have some knowledge of Japanese fashion. So let's do this!

* For the first one, it seems to be a very nice style overall. I'm going to Yay! the first one with that combination of pale yellow with bright yellow accents.

* I'm going to [slightly] Yay! the second one. The pattern looks very nice to me, just not too much in love with that one.

* Now the third one, which I'm going to Yay! as well. It seems like this is one you could really mix with some of your other clothes.

* Finally, the fourth one, and it's long. I'm really on the fence here with this one. Part of me says yay while another says nay. I'm going to say very slightly... Nay! It's tough, but I'd still consider this one if you're interested.

So if I had to choose, I'd go with the first or third ones. The third seems a bit more versatile, but the first one is a classic Oriental-style garment. I think if there was one that was red and had sakura designs on it, I'd ABSOLUTE yay it. That's my favorite Asian-style pattern- a classic red garment with sakura petals or flower designs. That, to me, says beautiful. I see it with cheongsams and qipao dresses, but also with various kimonos. So I'd go with the first or third ones if they are the ones you're considering.

And as always... dress with confidence!

Yay pinkprincess. But to the first dress. I can't tell if the third photo is the same dress or another dress you are considering.
