ahh mixed opinions :p

The problem with white shoes are that they will scuff and discolour very quickly

How do you guys keep white shoes clean?

I agree about the white, if you're going with trends. It's what's hot now for Spring. A navy or dark suit with white shoes? Gorgeous. Ultimately, if the desert boots are just a regular tan or buff shade, what differentiates it from desert boots by a cheaper brand? I like the idea of subverting the classic shape with an interesting material. If you're a size 41, they still have them in black patent leather (on sale at a a steal: $146!) or a high-gloss leather over at MonaMoore.com.

I wanted to get these, and they're my size, but I got my patent N.D.C.s already.

Here's the new one for spring:

If paired with a quirky jacket, I think it could look good.

If worn with oversized cowboy boots, I think it could look awful.

well I'd be wearing it with flat navy sandals or with small wedges & a navy jacket or a cardigan most likely (I don't own cowboy boots)

I think it would look great with a very different colored cardigan and flats. Just because it has two tide-dye stripes on the bottom doesn't suddenly change it into a weird dress. It's flowy and very functional. You could do tons with it.

eighteightkeys - nay - I am not keen on the wash of it. The jacet itself is cute but the wash isn't my kind of thing.
