that's cause I just bought them .
I think you kinda should sort through everything, because they don't list all designers. Very inefficient.

P.S. I have to tuck all of my CCP shirts in, so if you wear yours this way, than I think one size up from your usual size is totally fine.

I guess you're right, Faust, and I thankyou for the advice. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, but I just like the design of the watch very much.

The watch is produced by Seiko Instruments, and retails for $300. Do you know if Seiko is of good quality. Also, the website doesn't say where it is made, do any of you know?

I'm expecting that since it is by Issey Miyake, it's of high quality.

But anyway, it's better than a Fossil watch (Yes, that's the one I wear right now)

faust ..if you're only talking about the movement then that might be true....
but there are other things to consider...like design and materials...

arturo...what is the band made of ...?...is it rubber?...
fyi-seiko makes a good reliable timepiece...though $300 may be a bit much ...imo...

loving the pants faust...
and love the bag maarit...

Dior's quality is laughable anyway.

and Yay to the bag, Marrit.

Arturo, I'm not sure about the watch.

No offence taken .

Seiko is good quality, the watch is probably made in Taiwan (which is nothing to snuff at, really, unless it's expensive).

Softie, I can assure you that the materials used here are not of quality that demands such a premium. And actually, about watches, it IS about the movement. It's not the crocodile strap of the gold case (gold is not that expensive these days anyway), but the long hours of work spent creating a precise tiny mechanism by hand. That's what makes them so expensive. It's an idiosyncracy in a way, because a machine can do it just as well, and maybe better, but it's a romantic one (kind of like Carpe Diem in fashion) .

let's start a watch thread. i lost my casio film watch which i have been wearing for 4 years. i'd be interested in a watch that would compliment this "romantic, deconstructed" fashion... recommendations faust?

I think there were a few unsuccessful attempts at keeping a watch thread going, but you can search for old threads . I can't recommend anything, really. I myself don't wear a watch, because I have no desire to wear a Timex, and I can't afford an IWC. My cellphone and iPOD serve me well enough .
