I think it's pretty awesome, but I'd have to see it in real life to really know for sure.

However, I cant imagine wearing something so heavy in the summer ...

I like wearing unexpected 'evening' pieces for day. It's nice i think you could wear it for both. I think what you need to think of here is longevity. It's something that you can't wear often (imo of course) because it's so statement-y. That said, in it's own way it's quite classic and i think is something you'd keep in your closet for a long time. So it's would you rather wear something more often thats more short term or pay money for something that you couldn't wear that often but could pull out every couple of seasons? Just some thoughts....

I've been looking for flats like these forever that won't go over my price range right when I start bidding on them from ebay
I don't know if I should go for the gold ones...

If the $$$ is bothering you, then I'm sure that See by Chloé has something similar...though, I love that dress as well. But I don't think it would get much wear after this season.

The fact that Im mulling over it so much is why I think I shouldnt get it, everytime I think about something for a long time and buy it, I end up not loving it and not wearing it. So Im gonna pass on it...If it goes on sale (which Im positive it will) Ill definately snag it.

Also, it really isnt a summer item, I was out in the 67 degree weather today and I cant imagine wearing that. It's more of a F/W item.

Nay to everything, except mlg's dress and the prorsum cardigan. I would not pay that amount, but im almost sure you can afford it, and if you love it, then go ahead. And it will look beautiful with simple black's & white's.

laurenlauren - I like the first slightly more. Although I think it has the disadvantage of looking more like a nightgown than the second, that factor wouldn't bother me...

mlg08 - Maybe...

why_fashion - Definitely the second of the two

j-brand
Hi everyone! was wondering, which color do you think is better (same style j-brand 14 inches cigarette)
the first one is lapis, new color
and the 2nd one is ink
I think they look very similar so just debating (for the lapis, I think it is a bit darker with the button not showing)
thanks

which jacket should I go with?

I went to the Balenciaga trunk show and pre ordered the jacket with pinstripes(#1). At the same time, I tried on the second jacket (#2)and it looked surprisingly good on me with the bright trims.
#2 is very thick wool felt, so the jacket is heavier and meant for outdoor.
#1 is regular wool material, so it's lighter and for indoor - also slightly cheaper

I paid half downpayment to get #1 knowing that i'll wear #1 more often. But I'm hesitating...because #2 is more special (not that I'm lack of special jackets)...did I make the right choice?

FYI, the store got two of the #1 style in my size and none in #2 style. theoretically I can only do special order for #2 and wait for #1's regular to come to the store...but I'll be in a waitlist and I'm not sure that's guaranteed...

Thanks for your advice
