Time for my opinions on the high-waist pants in Post #11,710. One of the posts said "big yay." Well to me, big Nay!. Most of you know I dislike high-waist skinny pants. In fact, the entire look is a fail in that picture. The open-toe slingback booties look better than these pants, though I couldn't care less for either the pants or shoes in that picture. I'm not goo-goo-ga-ga over these pants like most others. Fail, fail, fail. Pass these pants up at once!

I say "nay" to those harem or whatever-you-call-it pants, too. I abhor this trend... you have no idea how much I do. I just can't understand why anyone would like something like that. It's so unflattering on so many levels. But that's just me. I'm kind of biased because (1) I prefer well-fitting, smart, structured, tailored looks, (2) I go by the "quality over quantity" philosophy and I don't think this is a very practical piece... I mean, where would you even wear those pants if you bought them? You'd probably regret this purchase when it goes out and when you look back in a decade or two at a picture of you wearing those pants... plus (3) I now officially dislike Urban Outfitters. But hey, a lot of other people seem to like it, and if you do like it, if you get a kick out of wearing unconventional or "unique" pieces, and if it fits into your personal style, go for it. *gets off soap box*

Hmm, I think white. I think it's less versatile, but if you're going to wear a skirt like that you may as well go all out! Actually... I think I like the black... Argh, I'm useless!
