i tried on this jkt...it doesn't really fit well...and the quality... ....it's a knockoff of a coat by development from last year which was 6x the price...so that's cool...but imo...it just doesn't really work as welll cause of the way it's cut...i'd skip it...welll...actually ...i did skip it...hee hee... got something at zara instead...

Thank you Softgrey... I have the opportunity to try it on in a week (short trip), so we'll see... but I can tell from the photos that you're right.

The Comme sweater looks fine to me. If it's a good price, go for it.

it's like 70 bucks right now and the auction's not even close to over yet...plus it's being shipped from the UK...

i think i'm gonna go for this Helmut Lang wool/cashmere crewneck sweater instead...that's still at 20 bucks but i think a lot of people are gonna bid on it. The only problem is the picture they have of the sweater is kinda sketchy, you can barely see it...but it's apparently from a power seller, so...

i hate the suspense of eBay

aw **** it i just bid on the comme sweater LOL. I may regret this later...i hope someone outbids me before i'm bound to it.

there's so much cool **** on Yahoo! auctions Japan...but I don't understand a word of it, and I bet shipping will cost a LOT.

Yup. Doesn't "Power Seller" usually translate to "sells a ton of '100% authentic' fake crap"? Seems like it to me...

Come to think of it, I always stay completely away from any auction that has the phrase, or something comparable to "100% authentic". Why would you feel the need to add that in unless you were worried because it's fake? Maybe I'm too suspicious...

How's the seller's feedback? I don't go near a seller with less than 100%, unless I can tell that maybe one crazy person left insane feedback.

the seller of the comme sweater has 100% feedback. I'm just not sure if it'll look good on me, but I do like the make of it and everything. That's another pet peeve of mine of buying stuff online, you can't try it and see how it looks ON YOU.

and the power seller thing isn't something you designate yourself, i think eBay.com actually gives you that distinction, i think it's got something to do with trust ratings or something, im not sure tho.

trying to decide on a dress for a holiday party...I've tried them both on and they are both cute, but I originally didn't want black.

BCBG ready to wear
Strapless silk dress with pintucked lace overlay, three layers of chiffon for fullness and feather hem. Satin ribbon belt, back zip.

or BCBG Collection:

I like the black dress more in the picture. But I think the blue one would look pretty if you didn't wear it with black tights and those shoes.

ELLE ME- lovely skirt yayness

Kimair- what Softie said. definetly the blue if you're blonde. black otherwise. the black dress looks kinda stiff in the pic imo, i'd go with something more flow-y.

marcj- $295 for a t-shirt?! no way in hell. get something better worth your hard earned cash.

Alex N- the dirk bikkembergs. very nice
