thanks softgrey The top is from Anthropologie and I want to see it in person before I would buy it so I'm going to see if they have it at our store. The bag is a very good price so we'll see I really need a white purse

Might I suggest a clean line via a simple cotton henley as well? AmericanApparel.net has them as online exclusives, but in NYC, they're available at the store level as well. If you wanted to go more casual with these pants, a simple white or even black henley, or even a white or cream v-neck would look amazing (the sustainable Edition cottons are great - I just bought one). Or you can layer them as well, if you want to use them in cooler weather - two henleys, or a henley with the buttons open over a long-sleeved ribbed tee, or two v-necks. The fit of American Apparrel's henleys are a cleaner version of the look and feel of Rick Owens' shirts, and great cotton pieces for less than one tenth of the price.
Thanks Bakla! I''ll have to stop by the american apparel store on Newbury here to see if they have them here as well.

The Diors have a much more classic shape, you could keep those forever really. The other ones look like you could buy them on the street...

Hi...First post!
Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on this capelet? I really like it, but am wondering if most others think it's silly . Thanks! It's beaded and only $23.

I like it, but not over a white tank, it would have to be matched perfectly I think, to look good. But it's unique, and if you like it that's what matters!!

I think at thhat price, you should just get it if you like it - it costs less than dinner! And I like the idea of it over a white (or even black) tank top that's more like a man's wifebeater rather than the spaghetti strap number it's shown on, and just some old low-rise jeans. Could be a fun evening-for-day look if you wear it really nonchalantly.

Nay to those LMaltieri pants for thoses idiotic prices unless that's the kind of change you find under your couch cushions.

lacefab...they're both nice...the second one looks very 50's to me...not 70's......
are you sure about the date?...

hi luxury's lap...welcome...
i think the capelet IS silly...
but i think that's the beauty of it...i think you have to have fun with it...

personally...i would wear it off kilter...with the opening at my shoulder...so that it drapes and my shoulder is exposed...tres sexy cool...even with jeans and a white tank...or you could wear iit in winter over a black t-nk for a more subtle and seriously elegant look...that's a lot of fun for only 23 bucks!!...

i say YAY!!...

It's just something I'm considering, that's all. Dior Homme is still my staple! I just love the LMaltieri linen, it's so perfectly rugged.
