First row on the right and second row on the left: Du Juan
Second row right: Ai Tominaga

For your info, Ai is Japanese (if I am not mistaken).

Love both their makeup, but I'm loving the black all over the crease look, kinda a BIG look but nice for going out

I find a lot of asian girls just disregard all advice and magazine clippings and just use way WAY too much black makeup especially for the daytime. I just use waterproof mascara on top lashes and normal mascara on bottom. Then for eyeliner I just the MAC gel fluid liner with the assistance of a MAC angle brush and apply eyeliner like they did in the 50's, "winged-out". I have decently large eyes already so it works and I have a crease. Also I've found dark olive green pencil shadows work really well with some black eyeliner on top.

I think subtly is key, otherwise you end up looking like a porn star (i.e. girls posted throughout this thread).

^Agreed........I'm Asian but there is NO effing way I will let myself go walking out of the house looking like a cheap hooker i.e. in post 153.......

I think Asian girls should be more comfortable with their natural features and just go with it instead of trying to make their eyes look unnaturally humongous or plucking their eyebrows into oblivion. There's grooming and then there's just pure slap!

I agree. I don't use too much make-up, but I don't really pay much attention to magazines and make-up advice because most of it is for white people. When it is tailored to Asians, they are usually focusing on those that have single lids and not double lids that meet the eye at the inner corner like myself. Even when they are focusing on Asians/Eurasians that have double lids, my eyes and eyebrows are just so different from theirs that the make-up they have would just look ridiculous on me even though we both have the same eyelids. I need to have more than just two eyelids in common with the model for it to look somewhat nice on me.

^Sorry, I didn't mean to offend!
It's just personally not my style..... I may look plainer and less striking because I don't make all this effort but I'm kind of ok with that!

it's cool, what floats my boat may not float yours, as long as we're both happy with our looks I don't think there's a problem!
