you are beautiful, and I love your makeup. And I like the pix too. You put enough make on so it is a bit of a 'look' extreme look. If you did it less it would look good too. Do you ever play with differnt colors. Friends of mine do similar looks, and use really strong red, or blues... It looks good too.
ooo! and what about fake eye lashes those would look really good too.

I love 'asian eyes'. And the makeup and diffent looks.
It also works well with the vamp look. Maybe that is what 'smoky eye' look people are talking about.

Oh yes I wear fake lashes quite a lot!

Actually I do wear greens and blues a lot. Sometimes pinks/reds. When I do that I usually put the color on my top lid where the black normally is, then line with some liquid black liner. I also put some color in my inner corner (under my eyes) which sort of makes the eyes and colors "pop", and line the rest of under my eye black.. or black with a small hint of color. I think it looks really nice. I love colored liner, but sometimes it's a bit too much if you line your eyes completely with color, so I add some black to neutralize it a bit.

Are you asian too?

Upstate ny is sooooo much colder than nyc.

Nah... white isn't boring. I like paleness a lot.

haha, sorry I dont know what my problem was yesterday...
I'm in NYNY. I'm liking the weather here. It's been fairly warm.

Yeah paleness is cool. I like it too.

ok so,
just to keep with the subject at hand... 'Asian eye'
I love the fact that Asian images... old and new they exaggerate the eyes and make them alot bigger. Also I guess Asians sometimes wear black contacts so that their eyes look more intense... That's cool.
body language-wise I think the eyes are used more in japan to express something subtle. Maybe hard to prove or even talk about but I seemed to notice it....

How should i go about trying to get a "smokey eye look" without look like someone punched me in the face? My eyes aren't very deep-set so i don't get the desired results i see in magazines

I have eyes like that, too. And I never know what to do with eye make-up because my eyebrows are quite high and it either ends up looking like I have too little make-up or too much and going halfway looks just as ridiculous.

Yeah my eyes are the same. They have a crease but they're still almond shaped. Yeah, whenever I try to go for a more natural look it looks like I have NO makeup on, instead of a subtle amout. So that's why I then just go for an overthe top look.

Golden_butterfly: I LOVE that look!!
