Barbie doll / Plastic Makeup
I'm thinking about trying this... what do you guys think?

I'm thinking a very pale, oil-based liquid foundation, Benefit Moonbeam or Highbeam and MAC lipstick...and huge fake eyelashes... anybody else have product suggestions or opinions?

I don't know. It looks nice on the runway, but I think in reality this look is really tacky.

Nars Balanced Foundation uses an oil-based formula.

this would be a cute "night out on the town" look, but I wouldn't wear it everyday, and i'd probably tone it down just a bit. Maybe try mixing moon/high beam with a foundation for a more flawless look than just using the highlighter alone.

I normally wouldn't suggest trying this look, but you've posted other ideas that I wouldn't have tried and you've pulled them off fabulously. I have no suggestions, but I support the experiment--please post pictures!

okay... it didn't turn out as dramatic as i had hoped, because I just used the products i had. I'll try it again with a paler, more covered face and more pink.

Here are the pics, although they don't represent too well...

I used:

Chanel Hydralumiere Foundation in Soft Bisque
Revlon Skinlights moonbeam-esque stuff
Maybelline pink blush that was given to me by my mom... it was too pale for her, why waste makeup?
Black eyeliner/Charcoal shadow as liner
Avon Astonishing Lengths Mascara
Wet n Wild hot pink lipstick

The lipstick was PERFECT... I have it from like 5th grade, when I used to buy crazy stuff and never wear it, just experiment and dress up like Queen Amidala... lol.

Next time: Fake eyelashes

TheSoCalledPrep, with a pretty face like yours i say you can pull it off
tell me how the fake eyelashes go, I'm very curious since I've never used them before.

When you try the false eyelashes, donīt use the glue that comes with them as itīs pants!
Use Duo Eyelash adesive. Itīs way better. Grab the lashes with some tweezers, spread the glue along the lashes and let them dry for about a minute, them press the lashes agaisnt the center of your lash line and with the help of a small stick, press against the rest of the lash line. After you should get that eye closed until the lashes are well stucked!
I can do this easily to others but itīs difficult for me to do it to myself !!!

Forgot to add: Instead of the false eye lashes, you could try the Lash extension mascara by Līoreal. It gives you huge lashes!!!

I think Barbie makeup can only suit certain types of people - but it looks great on you!
