This might sound gross, but when I was little my mum used to make me toast with butter and sugar
I still love it

^ that's not gross at all.
but then.. i do like dinner for breakfast - especially warm filling stews in winter. must have meat for me.

i'll make for breakfast, a quick stew:
- lamb sauteed in onion & olive oil + a bit of tomato paste + green & yellow beans + sugar snap peas + green sweet peas with a bit of tomato paste.
or
- italian sausages sauteed in onion & olive oil + a bit of tomato paste + diced potatoes + diced carrots + diced rutabaga.

the veggies are frozen mixes - so it's super easy and fast!

i finish breakfast with a cup of strong Yorkshire Gold Tea with cream and sugar.

^ No way I have time for that :p

Something that's fast is fresh coddled (or soft or hard boiled) eggs with Melba toast & hot tea. You don't have to watch it, so you can start it & go get ready, and it's still fresh & hot.

^ mmmm.... eggs are divine... alas i became allergic to them 2yrs ago.

but seriously - that stew thang literally only takes 10minutes - including prep AND cook time... and i'm totally not one who enjoys cooking.

It's very satisfying. I use the chunky peanut butter. Not TOO much, but about a tablespoon.

BUMP

I crave this little breakfast that I've made for myself quite often... It includes Kashi GoLean, some banana, and cashews all in milk. Delicous. A good mix of fiber-rich things... and some sweet mixed with salt.

usually cereal.
Sometimes egg whites with avocado and toast.
And some other times pinto beans (in a soupy form) with pico de gallo salsa and toast.

My morning breakfast:

Glass of water
An apple
Egg burrito: Three scrambled egg whites, on whole wheat torllia, with salsa.

(or)

Glass of water
Half cup of plain oatmeal with a hint of brown sugar
and an apple or an orange. I have to have fruit with my breakfast every morning.
