I usually have some toast with jam, and a glass of orange juice. It's quick and it gets me through my first classes, until I can have a midmorning snack.
I'm not big on breakfast, if I skip it can sleep in longer :P and I find that if I eat breakfast I feel very weighted down for the rest of the day. My stomach doesn't like food that early in the morning.
Usually I"m in such a rush that I have to grab something to go. I really like Dannon's Light & Fit yogurt smoothies and Slim Fast chocolate royale shakes. Yum.

i agree buot that weighing down aspect. i even feel nauseous... thats why my breakfast is taken instead of lunch
I find proteinrich foods to be essential in the morning. Like a couple of eggs, some yoghurt or something. Maybe with a piece of rye bread.
When I have Italian breakfast, cappucio + brioche, I'm desperately in need of a snack or two right after... If I start my day with a sugar trip, I need more and more and more.

I always keep a bag of mixed organic berries in the freezer and scoop them into a glass bowl to defrost them in the microwave. Then I put them on top of yogurt that tops my cereal, smash them into a fruit syrup to top waffles or pancakes, mix them into cottage cheese. Great way to get some variety and nutrition.

When dieting and in a hurry: 1/2 Cup of Fiber One Cereal~ it contains 60 calories and 14 grams of Fiber.
Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long. So if you have time, eggs or meat (Canadian Bacon is awesomely low in fat) are probably the best choices.
Another idea: fat-free refried beans w/ low-fat cheddar cheese; this way you get both your protein and your dairy

- 1/2 cup of beans, whatever vegetables are in the fridge, a slice of honeydew and a tablespoon of Natural peanut butter
or..
- 1/2 cup of plain oatmeal with a packet of Sweet n' Low stirred in, a banana, tablespoon of Natural peanut butter, whatever veggies are around
Suggestions for healthy, energizing breakfasts:
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, a fruit, a tablespoon of peanut butter, and some veggies if you can stomach them in the morning
- A slice of whole wheat toast, some nuts, 10oz of 100% juice
Something I've found that helps me feel full (in all meals) is to eat beans and veggies first, then fruit, then startch, then fat... Maybe it's just a quirk of mine!!
If you don't want to crash at 10 o'clock, DO NOT have Coffee, White Flour (this includes cereals like Fruit Loops and Golden Grahams!!) or "fake" juice (sugar water disguised at fruit juice).
