Sometimes I do not feel hungry enough to eat breakfast, but most of the time I will have either a piece of toast with margarine, maple syrup and brown sugar flavoured oatmeal, a fruit (apple or banana, or something), a bowl of yoghurt, muesli with dried fruits, or steamed buns. Once in a while I will have scrambled eggs on toast (sometimes also with ham). I usually drink two cups of water with breakfast.

I don't usually eat before noon, but there are some days where I just wake up ferociously hungry. On those days its always two poached eggs on white toast with home fries on the side, a skim cappuccino and a grapefruit juice.

I don't really like eggs or meat for breakfast because my stomach can't handle too much substance so early, but a good substitute is high-fiber low-fat cereal and a bowl of fresh fruit. And tea, of course, I have to stay true to my British roots.

But if I just don't have time to make something (which is often the case), I champion the obscure fridge leftovers.

Mmm food. I like whole wheat bread with pumpkin seeds and smothered in strawberry jam, with an orange/banana/pineapple/flax smoothie. Quick and easy!

I love Ovaltine! It's better than regular milk for sure! Just a tall glass usually fills me up.

1. Nuts and an apple
2. a banana
3. 3 spoon of cereal with either milk or low fat yogurt
4. two slices of whole-wheat bread with 0,1% fat stuff on it. ocassionally i'll put no-sugar marmelade on top.
5. some vegetables like peppers, tomatoes and a slice of w.w. bread.

it varies, but usually for breakfast i'll have one of the following:
- 1/2 a whole-wheat bagel, toasted, with peanut butter and banana slices on top, glass of orange juice (w/ lots of pulp)
or,
- scrambled eggs (usually 1 (or 1.5) yolk, 3 whites), with cheese and tomato on a toasted whole-wheat bagel, orange juice
or,
- whole-grain banana pancakes, my favourite.
