if you are hungry, i recommend eating steel-cut oatmeal. it's really healthy and filling. also, an egg-white ommelette with cheese and toast and a bit of fruit might be nice. with a cup of hot tea (i love raspberry black tea).
if you are not hungry, take a cereal bar and an apple with you to work or whatever you do; those are tasty as well.
Breakfast is important! If I don't eat it I get gastric the rest of the day. I usually have oatmeal with raisins and green tea/water, scrambled eggs and wholemeal toast or a banana.
How is steel-cut oatmeal different from normal oatmeal??
I really don't believe all the hype about breakfast. I am usually not hungry in the morning so why force myself to eat? Also I think breakfast foods are about the nastiest foods ever...sausages?? eggs?? bacon?!? BARF! I'm never in the mood for any breakfast item, sometimes I will have waffles or cereal with soy milk but usually just some fruit or I just wait until I'm hungry and eat things I actually like at lunch.
How is steel-cut oatmeal different from normal oatmeal??
i don't know what you mean by "normal," but steel-cut outmeal is really chunky and so it takes a while to cook (it's not the 2-minute kind) and it has a lot of fiber, so it keeps you full for a long time.
