I just bought some NYC translucent powder for $1.99 I was pleasently suprised. It actually worked pretty well. It definetly dosn't seem like cheap kiddie makeup.

Oh I love that sutff! I have the loose powder, i use it everyday and it's amazing. I never would have guessed it was $2 if I didn't buy it myself. I'm sure i could've paid a ton more for it if it was in a different package.

NYC makeup? I'll try using more of their products. Last month I purchased NYC curling mascara. It wasn't that bad for something that cost $2. The curling mascara was ok. It wasn't clumpy and lasted throughout the day.

Hmm. Maybe I should consider that.

I use NYC bronzer, it's all right... has a bit of an orangish tone, but if I use just a bit it's just enough to accentuate my cheekbones without too much color.

I think their mascaras suck, but their translucent powders, eye liners, and lip liners rock. Oh, and I like their clear glosses. Very basic, but shiny, cheap and not sticky. ^^

I like their nail polishes somewhat but I don't use that line much. Although I have one eyeliner that I like from them.

Yeah NYC isn't amazing. But it is suprising and when you don't have the cash to spend on even Revlon or whatever. It's good.

Hey my bf's sister ordered some stuff from ELF, and she gave me a lipbalm.
Err.. I'd say the texture is smooth, I like.
But the raspberry smell isn't very pleasant *at least to me*
I prefer my good ol' Nivea Strawberry!

Oh yah, I tried the lipgloss too..
Don't like the texture.. sticky.
And the colour isn't very nice too..

Elf
My package from ELF arrived and I have to say from what I have tried today, I am quite pleased. Today I tried:
Clarifying Pressed powder-I was a bit nervous ordering powder because I wasn't 100% sure that the color online would actually help me match which shade I needed. Luckily enough, I ordered the correct shade! The orange scent of the powder threw me off a bit, but after you have it on the scent goes away. It has given me nice coverage and stayed put all day! I'm a fan!

Earth and Water MascaraThis stuff is fantastic. I have the regular on today and put it on with no clumps or any of the other crazy stuff mascara tends to do. My lashes are still seperated nicely and I'm just really happy with it!

Brightening Eye Liner in Coffee I wear very little eye liner, but this did the job I needed it to. No complaints. The liners all come with mini. sharpeners

Moisture Care Lip Color in Chai I had a little difficulty getting the gloss to come out at first. It probably took me about 50 twists to get it started. I really liked the color and it stayed on much longer than the Clinique lip gloss that I used to use in the same color

Overall, I really like what I got

17 eyeshadow? I've never heard of it... Where do you get it? How much? What's it like?
