Burt's Bees Skincare products
I looked through the Burt's Bees website a few minutes ago and their products seem to be quite interesting. I'm particularly interested in the facial care line. Has anyone tried their products? I'm really curious about the tinted moisturisers !

**Edit - Please keep make-up questions/recommendations in Paint that Face - There is a Burt's Bees Make-up thread http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums...cts-43919.html

I can't help you with the makeup part of their line, but my roommate swears by their lettuce facial soap... and she uses some type of oil by them for her blemishes. Beats me what it is, though.

I love Burt's Bees products (the one's I've tried, anyway)! My favorite is the lemon butter cuticle cream. I haven't tried the face/make up stuff, so I can't help there. But if their other stuff is any indication, it should be great!

I've used the Milk & Honey Body Lotion. It smells great & makes the skin soft.

I had the lettuce soap, but I didn't like it. I found it really drying and it didn't make a difference to my complexion at all, infact I think it might have made it worse. Mind you, what suits one person's skin doesn't always suit the next person! Depending on where you live, try emailing the site and requesting some samples.

They do sell little kits that have samples of lots of different products in them. I swear by the orange facial cleanser and the carrot day creme, but it really does depend on your skin type. I find that they cleanse but they don't dry out at all and leave a sort of soft oil on your skin afterwards if that makes sense, which means for me, that my skin doesn't overproduce oil that clogs my pores. Plus, the moisturizer is great under makeup, especially if you have uber dry skin (it was the only thing I could use while on accutane). It works like a primer almost.

Has anybody tried the beeswax hand cream?

I recently bought the almond milk, and also the banana hand cream. I definitely noticed a difference (softer hands etc.) and love that the product can be used on feet/knees/elbows as well but i find that it is a bit greasy/oily when i first apply it

that could just be me being too generous with how much i use though
