Has anyone tried the Lift Lumiere foundation? I've become curious about it after reading rave reviews on cafemakeup. Would it be suitable for sensitive/combo skin? How does it compare to Teint Innocence compact (coverage/finish wise)?

Just got the Quartz nailpolish (light taupe/mink colour comes to mind). It needed 3 coats to become opaque. I am planning to lay it over Particuliere next time.

Also got the Khaki-Discret Eyeshadow Duo. It goes so well with my eye colour that I could't resist it.

A look at the limited edition Pink Cloud blush (temptalia.com):

Quote:
Chanel Pink Cloud (66) Joues Contraste / Powder Blush ($43.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a limited edition rose-hued blush that is supposed to give “a soft, natural-looking flush to cheeks.” It’s a soft, pale rosy pink with subtle yellow undertones and a satiny sheen. Whether layered or blended, it has a similar look–just a very light pink. It’s not as pale as MAC Play It Proper, but it’s a little lighter than MAC Oh So Fair.

Chanel nailed it in what they were hoping to achieve, but because of the overall lightness in the color, it works best on lighter skin tones. In person, I found it looked ashy–more like I was wearing foundation that was too light on my cheeks than a subtle rosy flush. On my skin tone (which is medium with warm undertones), it could work as a lightly dusted highlighter but not so much as a blusher. In reality–on my skin–the difference between wearing Bieges Ombres Tissees and Pink Cloud is minimal–they both add a little sparkle and shine, with the latter adding a lot more sheen.

The texture of Pink Cloud is just like other Joues Contrastes; it’s silky soft with a very finely milled powder that yields a glowy sheen but never a frosted look. The color is true-to-pan, and despite the softness of the powder, it doesn’t sheer out instantly. For our lighter friends, it might be worth looking into; especially if you find many blushes too intense and pigmented.

I need to buy some Chanel m/u for my birthday. A You Tube mua artist named PixiWoo, actually that is the name of their channel, seems to really like Chanel Lumiere:

I think all of us in here are familiar with the pixiwoo sisters and their love for Chanel foundations And they're proper MUAs, not just some odd youtube gurus, so I trust them.

^^ I would do anything to get boy and rebel.
I hate when things are this exclusive. It's not fair lol.

Does anyone think that Rebel might be similar to Blue Satin?

Blue Boy and Blue Rebel for sure! Coco Blue seems a bit too summery in my opinion.

I tried Peridot today. It's less interesting when swatched than it looks in the bottle, but still very nice.
I might pick it up...
Also, I purchased Chanel pro lumière in 20 awhile ago and I'm very pleased with it. It's too dark (especially with the crappy summer we had here), but I mix it in with Le Blanc de Chanel to make the perfect shade .
