Metallic pewter shadow was used all around the eyes to Gothic effect. Mesh "lashes" were applied to each model's upper and lower lash lines, creating a smeared, smudged effect - as if the model had been crying and her make-up had left feathered tracks upon her cheeks. False lashes finished the look, whilst another coat of the pewter cream shadow over the mesh applique "lashes" brought the look together. Lips were painted a pale, pearly pink, whilst nails were a peachy nude. Hair was piled into textured up-dos, accessorised with feathers, lace and silk.

I got a sample of Le Volume (mascara) and the effect it gives is very similar to Bourjois' Volumizer, except that the Chanel mascara is a tiny tiny bit more black.
