I use cle de peau beute ...it has awesome texture. I ordered it over the phone from Bergdorf Goodman . But I also heard Laura Mercier does have a good concealer pallette...

I work with a company that makes cosmetics and our artists use concealer before foundation.

If you put the foundation on afterwards, the concealer gets blended in a bit better so it is less obvious looking. Just don't blend it in completely before putting foundation on. However, if you don't like having a lot of stuff on your face it's best to see how well the foundation covers first before using concealer.

I like to use concealer after foundation, because the foundation evens out the skin tone and the lessens the reddness of the blemish, then cover with concealer and then set with powder.

Itīs like this (how i learned in my make up course, and works fab):

You put on the foundation all over your face except around the eyes.

Then you mix a bit of concealer with a bit of the leftover foundation that is in your hand (so that you can achieve a more accurate colour) and dab it over all the eye area.

If you have blemishes, you can use the mix you used (to put around the eyes) with a small concealer brush, if the blemishes are too noticeable use the cincealer by itself.

I totally agree with this. That's how I was taught, as well.

However, you can't use this method if you use a powder foundation, for obvious reasons.
