Does it hurt to bleach??

Im sorry if this has been posted before but i just watched an episode of americas next top model and one of the girls had black hair and they bleached it and she was in alot of pain during the process well does that happen to everyone???

omg I saw that too and I had never thought about it but it makes sense that it would hurt because the chemicals are soooo strong she handled it like a pro though

I think it depends on how sensitive your scalp is and how much peroxide and stuff is in your hair. I can see how her scalp would have hurt though because I have natural dark hair and I put on a bit of bleach and it did sting a little bit.

Yes, it hurts like hell. When I use to get my hair bleached ( I have natural black hair) it felt like sharp needles were being poked on my scape. I though the pain from relaxers was bad-nothing compares to bleach!

i heard that if u mixed a package of sweet'n'low in it, it doesn't sting as much
