A Clinique dramatically different moisturising lotion is sold somewhere in the world every 4 seconds so there are plenty in agreement.
Most of the large cosmetic houses' products contain perfume..... Clarins, Estee Lauder etc, however good they say their technology is, even Chanel skincare isn't the greatest, most of them, seem to sit on my skin, dry it or even inducing sensitivity...some of the even more expensive brands, crem de la mer and specific spa products for example I have found good though Cliniques' 3 step makes my skin fresh and moisturised better than any other I have found and is always my rescue after trying other products.
^ I wouldn't consider that comment "bitchy"... I, too, find that Clinique is among the most overrated brands... I still can't figure out why it sells so much... I don't like any of their products... but of course, they just do not work for ME.
I think I saw this 8 hrs. cream at TJ Maxx... Just maybe...
If you find the 8hr cream too sticky - try the specialist Hand Cream and Lipstick. I think 8hr cream should be used as directed, for especially dry areas, burns etc...but the Hand Cream is a different formulation, not like a balm at all - but it's very efficient and comes in a small tube. The lip balm is made like a lipstick, and is very effective too.
The eigth hours cream is the best remedy I know for seriously chapped lips. You put it at night, and in the morning your lips are born again.
I still wonder about other uses of it, I´ve tried it to give sheen to my cheeks, but I end up looking like an oily mess. What does Elle McPherson do with it? I would really like to know.
Clinique does nothing for me, except making me break out.
Their only saving grace is their Almost lipstick in Black Honey, recently reappeared. It´s a perfect product, it looks great on everybody, it looks dark on the tube, but looks superb for day (a smidge) and for night (a couple of coats).
It´s the only CLinique thing that I truly love
