Sometimes the brows are really bleached.

You can also try to use a mascara wand full of concealer and brush the brows to make them look skin colored. This works but for photographs and runaway looks, live it doensīt look that good.

I sometimes bleach mine a bit and itīs a great option. It really enphasise the eyes, it takes away the brow protagonism from ones face and i really like that, and itīs not dificult at all to do this at home. I totally recommend it.

^^ Possible that they put some wax on it, foundation and powder over it most likely.

By the way, if you've seen any of the modern cheesecake/pin up/vintage-retro girls these days they are very adept at shaping/drawing eyebrows like in the first picture above. They have threads on how to re-create 1920s, 30s, 50s so on and their tips are online too.

Also I remember watching some videos w/Pat McGrath and she explained some of those extreme Dior looks. Basically loads of foundation, covers brows w/it. Then she has custom latex cut-outs that she sticks to the eye area w/ some sort of glue (probably like lash glue). The latex pieces are colored and go over the brow to create that gigantic lid/brow, draggy look. In other shows she used brow wax/gum, foundation/powder over it. Then bright face paint and makeup like Kryolan to paint on face/lids.

Omg HAHA. This reminds me.....

Once, I was trying to recreate some of the Dior HC make-up looks and I wanted to give myself some seriously creepy eyebrows so I smeared this sample packet of Maybellinne dream matte mouse foundation all over my eyebrows and all night I applied layers and layers until my eyebrows were.....covered?

It looked lumpy and gross, I mean SERIOUSLY gross...and it took me hours to get it all off and I looked like a creep....
Never try this.....just not with Maybelline dream matte MOUSE. .
