I've heard that they have very good pencils.
I don't really know about the rest, sorry!

Bought a ton of stuff to go with my already sizable collection from illamasqua and I would say that the Rich Liquid Foundation is fabulous for five minutes, the pencils are great, the brushes are really nice, although some are rubbish and too harsh because of the synthetic materials. The lipsticks are mostly nice but have been really disappointed with the blue and purple, as they are too see through so they look messy and cakey if you try and build them to a good coverage. Blushers are fantastic though, such great color payoff!

I'm not sure I just heard that their eyeliner with some kind of gel or something on top was really good

Haven't tried that but their eye pencil is pretty good, and their lipstick in Drench is amazing

IS this brand expensive and can you get a hold of it outside the UK?

I heard that it was available in Sephora New York, its price range is probably like any other high end makeup brand, lipsticks are from 6.25 pounds up to 15.

Have you tried their cream foundation? I've read some really good reviews about it

Yes, I have, it's been rotten for me. Looks wonderful at first, then it cakes and slides off. It'd be okay if it wasn't full coverage but when full coverage slides you look like you need a skin graft!

i have a few friends who have recommended the illamasqua foundation to me, as i'm searching for one to replace my favourite ever prescriptives one... it was quite pale with pinky tones. the "shell" estee lauder one was ok though, so might run with that instead...

Does anyone know if this brand is counterfeited?

Specifically the nail polish?

I'm interested in purchasing some through ebay, but I don't want to end up with some fakes. Thanks for any help.

^ I haven't heard, read, or came across any counterfeit Illamasqua products yet.

I want to inform you that their nail polish bottles have slightly changed, so there's a possibility that the ones on Ebay* may be the original bottles.

The following links display photos of the new glass bottles vs. the old bottles. You can see the difference along the sides, edges, and the bottom.
New bottles:

Old bottles:

*As always, whenever buying from Ebay, check the seller's feedback to see if they have any history in selling counterfeit products, and also contact the seller to ask if they have any proof of, and/or can confirm, the authenticity of the products.
