I bought Shimmy Shimmy [massage bar] yesterday and ohhhh, I love it!

It smells so nice and it works amazingly.

Look at my shoulder.

I it!

I also bought baby face and it took off my really really messy makeup so easily. It really works wonder! Because previously I spent half an hour taking my waterproof makeup and now it only takes 3 mins or so. Love it!

Chocolate whipstick rocks!
I dont know what its called now but the product they used to call 'middle earth turns to rock' was a great exfoliator!

I want to try their toothpaste?

Can anyone tell which one [Black toothgel or white toothpaste] is better?

Is it any good for whitening?

Thanks!

I've tried maybe 3 of the moisturisers, and i found that 1) they are way overpriced for what you are getting; 2) They contain just as may chemicals as the next department store/drugstore products (but they dont even contain sunscreen!);3) the quality isnt that great- usually they just sit on top of the skin like an oily, greasy coating (Celestial especially!)

Yeah, I think their moisturizer did that to me too.

What chemicals did they have?

I thought they were supposed to have less chemical.

At least, that is what I thought...

skip the toothpastes. They are a waste of money.

They dont work well...........and dont stay on the tooth brush well, or lather at all. And dont leave your mouth feeling fresh.

They are just gimmicky and a waste of money.

Some of the stuff is awful. I used a face wash (it contained sea weed, I can't remember the name but it looked like sushi) and all it did was make my skin dry and smell awful.

The lip balms I find are way too drying.

The soaps however are lovely. I especially love the deep sea one.

Aqua Marina....yeah its not that great either.

I find most of the lip balms drying too, which is interesting as lip balms should moisturize not dry out the lips. Whipstick and Lip Service are good though, and do wonders for the lips.

Ianastar, thanks for the tip!

But too late, I already bought it.

Both the white toothpaste and the black toothgel actually .

I like the smell of the black toothgel, but really, it does nothing other than making my mouth smell sweet!

The white one doesn't smell like vanilla at all. What a rip off?

Has anyone bought any of their special Christmas products? I wanna get Angel's delight and snowcake.

all of you seem to love Lush but i cant even go into the shop because the smells make me feel sick as they're so strong I always like the smell from a distance but then up-close its really powerfull I must have sensitive senses or something.

While I was in England I once visited Lush. I loved the smells and colours of their products. But how is the quality in general (ie The Body Shop, which is a little bit similar, has bad quality in my experience)?

I'd say the Body Shop's quality is not as good as Lush. The products are more reliable though...you know you are getting the same thing twice, where as Lush because the ingredients are more natural and less controlled there can be variations that change the product slightly. I like the Body Shop though, they have some good products. Shame about them selling to L'Oreal, their ingredients will just become more synthetic.

I wouldn't advise the Lush shampoo and conditioner bars either. Very hard to get through your hair, leaves a lot of mess in your bathroom and quite drying...even for me with normal/oily hair.

The products look really good, but I could never go into a Lush store because the smell is overpowering!
