Gudmun- If you have puffy evey in the morning this may be caused by a number of factors 1) dry air 2) drinking right before going to bed at night.

tgp- I been using the All About Eyes from Clinique (cream) for a few years now, and I can't live without it.It's great.

Benefit's depuffing action eye gel is really good, I can see the difference each time after applying on one eye. I use it before applying my eye makeup.

Yeap, caffeine does help in reducing dark eye circles but if you want to save the hassle, can try 100%pure coffee bean eye cream. its description says 100% Vegan Anti-inflammatory, caffeine-rich green tea and coffee de-puff and reduce swelling while increasing circulation for increased blood flow to alleviate and brighten dark circles. Packed with powerful antioxidants, vitamins and nourishing nutrients. I use this as night to battle the dark circles.

Do you think sleeping with contact lenses on (sometimes) would trigger black circles?

I keep a bag of frozen peas in the freezer. Every morning I press it against my eye area for about 5-10 minutes. It really wakes me up and refreshes the area. It also makes the whites of my eyes brighter. A bag of peas is good cause it molds to your face and doesn't leave a dent like some gel masks do.

Does anyone find any difference in 'puffiness' depending on the light of your room?, I used to sleep with white curtains back home so I'd get sunrise light and would often wake up by it with vaguely puffy eyes that I could get rid of in the shower. I now sometimes sleep with black shades that block all the light and not only I wake up with a massive headache, I also wake up with super puffy eyes and some red marks (like future wrinkles ) between my eyebrows.. I didn't know what it was but I figured it could be the lack of light so I tried sleeping with no curtains and.. morning puffiness went down dramatically.
It's probably a random theory but just wanted to share it. :p

You can use spoons that have been in the freezer or cucumber slices.

I find that not drinking too much water an hour before sleep helps
