Just put a piece of news paper over your nail, press on it with a cotton ball and some rubbing alcohol, just hold for only a couple seconds and remove. Voila! Newspaper Nails.

^ love the newspaper nails. but did you have a top coat or anything on it before you put the newspaper on? I am assuming the nailpolish was fully dried? sorry about the silly questions- just a bit amazed by the whole process.

I didn't do it personally. Yet! But, I think you apply regular polish, put on the newspaper, let it dry and potentially attempt a top coat? Hopefully a top coat won't make the ink rub off.

I think you need to let your first coat dry, otherwise it will be a mess after you put on the newspaper, the polish will stick to the np.

I love the newspaper nails. I should try it out some time.

I never did come back with photos of Konad's sponge nail art. Actually, I thought it looked rubbish and probably deleted the photos. It was all lumpy and, to me, looked a little too childish.

Did some experimenting today. Alternating colours are popular here so I thought I'd try it out, but make it a little different with some white Konad on the darker colour:
