OPI - Russian Collection

New for Fall/Winter 07, I'm liking the dark shades and the abundance of deep purples...

Has anyone seen any of these yet?

I'm curious about whether the shades are matte or shiny/sparkly..

I've been looking for a nice, matte, eggplant purple for a while and haven't been able to find the perfect shade so I'm hoping one of the shades in this new collection will work...

yeah that's what i was thinking too!

i saw it in this month's W and immediately ran over to my computer to see what the colors are because it looked like what I've been searching for

I personally want the Russian Navy. Navy is one of my favorite colors! And for some reason I never see anyone with blue nail polish, so...

^^i think that one may have a bit of sparkle in it..
it's the color the model is wearing in the ad, and it looks matte there, but in other places i saw on the internet it looks like it had some shine to it..

just fyi

i think a matte navy would be great

^Oh, thanks very much for the tip! I don't like sparkly nail polish... :/ Know of any good matte navy nail polishes?

urgg i ihate how matte nailpolish is ruined by sparkle.. i cannot stand sparkle either.

it might not be too shiny...
i found color swatches on alllaqueredup.com but it's kind of tough to tell...
not as matte as i would like, but it's always tough to tell on the computer..
nothing beats testing it out in person

Hmmm, the Russian navy doesn't look too bad in the photos there... That Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey looks really nice, though! I'll probably get that instead.

I really want to get the navy one, but I was just wondering where you can buy OPI nail polish? Cause I thought I heard you could only get it like if you went to a salon and got your nails done. I haven't seen it in any stores either.

I've seen OPI sold at Trade Secret and other hair salons, and you don't have to get your nails done to get buy the nail polish there.

I really like this collection, especially the navy and egg plant colors. Mcfly, you can also find their nail polish at Ulta. Even my grocery store has OPI

i've seen it at the counters of lots of salons
