Prada Amber Pour Homme
A sales associate at Holt Renfrew today told me that Prada is launching a new perfume for men, which is set to come out this month. I can't wait to smell it. Here is some information based on it:

Prada Amber Pour Homme
A contemporary, highly natural scent with captivating impact; an ambery fougere. Prada has reinvented the concept of men’s fragrances. A sensual fragrance for a confident and non-conformist man. Coming this month!

In addition to the amber accord, a fougère accord is added for contrast. To achieve the amber note, a combination of vanilla, tonka bean, labdanum oil and patchouli was used. For the fougère aspect, there's geranium, vetiver, orange blossom, myrrh and musk. Finally, leather notes are softened with a blend of saffron oil and sandalwood.

I'm so excited as well. I'm expecting it to be just as great as the women's perfume. I bought my mom for Christmas the Prada perfume gift set and she absolutley loved it. It smells really good and it last long on the body.

Brilliant! Although I always thought the "women's" scent was more unisex. I actually know several men who wear the women's fragrance.

I think you should. It really seems to work well for both sexes. In fact, I officially give you the courage to wear the "women's" fragrance, Pastry! Just call me The Wizard of Oz

Oh wow!! This is exciting news.

I am a man and wear the women's ................I found it to be really unisex, and I have loved it, so I wear it.

I wonder how similar this one will be to the womens??

I'm suprised how expensive the men's is. I got a 1.7oz bottle of the "unisex" one for $65. The men's is $90?????

Now I have to choose between getting this or V&R's Antidote or really work on my fiancee for both. LOL!!

I plan on getting a bottle of Amber Pour Homme, I'm a girl but it seems very unisex to me and it smells absolutely gorgeous. Sophisticated and unique. I love the womens fragrance too but after awhile it can give me a headache.

I think they both seem pretty unisex.

Go for it. I wear the women's

so i have it on my wrist...
i thought it'd be much sweeter, like the women's fragrance.
i was actually kind of disappointed at fist....but as it dried i really like it.
it's quite old world...reminds me of my grandpa. but it has something added to it that makes it fresher.
i like both anyways!

I'm going to try to sniff it today while I'm at the mall.

I went into Nordstrom today, and they didn't have it in yet. The SA was nice enough to make me a sample vial from the ONE lab tester they had.

It smells pretty good. WAY more masculine than the women's (obviously )

It's really strong at first, but dies down rather nicely. I think I'll get it.

They didn't have V&R's Antidote in yet though. But in a few weeks.

I liked it from the magazine strip but it's not good at all when I wore it in person. It stunk like every other mens cologne...very boring and mainstream. I had high hope for it but it's nothing special in my opinion. The bottle design is nice though...
